One-hand grip options for steering wheels
Steering devices are used to make it much easier to steer the car one-handedly. They also provide you with a good grip and precise control.
The most common use of a steering device is in combination with hand controls. Just like pedals, hand controls require constant attention when driving. This leaves you with only one free hand while operating the hand controls. Steering devices can also be beneficial for those with reduced upper body mobility or grip strength. Steering devices are also known as Steering knobs, Wheel spinners and Steering aids.

Transmitter On The Wheel PV3000
The Kivi PV3000 is a newly ergonomically designed spinner knob that allows individuals with limited upper limb ability to use the steering wheel and auxiliary functions with one hand. This PV3000 is a radio wireless device that consists of a keypad and a handle allowing the driver to manage the service controls from one station on the steering wheel. The keypad is able to be fixed to the wheel or revolving in respect to the wheel meaning that regardless of its position, it will always sit perpendicular to the wheel. To remove the knob and the keypad from the wheel you simply just pull down on the lower locking ring and pull out the knob at the same time.
How the PV3000 works wirelessly
The transmitter sends the pulses to a receiver via radio-waves. This system allows you to operate auxiliary functions:
- When located far from the vehicle.
- Without interference from other electric/electronic apparatuses in the car (power-stations, mobile-phones, radios, external electronic signals and other apparatus)
- Without electro-magnetic pollution
